Richard has been a Partner of Architecture 9 since September 2014.

Richard was a career employee of KPI Architects Inc. until the close of that business in August 2014. During his 25 years at KPI, Richard held positions of Senior Designer, Director of Design, Project Architect, and finished as Vice President.

During this period Richard worked on projects in Fontana, Glendale, Chino, Alisal, Parajo Valley, Ontario Montclair, Twin Rivers, Grant Unified, and Covina -Valley, Anaheim City, and Fullerton and Corona-Norco Unified School Districts. Currently, Fullerton, Fontana, and Glendale Unified School Districts are contracted with Architecture 9, in which Richard actively participates.

Richard has made a career focused on design. As a Designer of Educational Projects, Richard has made numerous graphic presentations that were used in board member presentations, local bond project brochures, and "what if" scenarios.

Richard’s career at KPI required skills in Master Planning, Programming, Project Development, and high profile client contact, management of staff, coordination of project professionals, project scheduling, and graphic design.

At all levels of Richards’s employment and current Partner of Architecture 9, he has made numerous public presentations over the 35 years, from one-on-ones with clients to school board member presentations.
